Saranjit is a law student at the University of Calgary, graduating in 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Law & Society and English from York University. During her undergraduate degree, she focused on the intersection between law and science, which spurred her interest in intellectual property. Saranjit wrote her capstone thesis on corporate deviance at NASA. The thesis required extensive research in mechanical engineering, which was aided by her practical knowledge of car mechanics.
